    Hello JKN GT,

As you can post I would assume you have internet access from a source so I would advise first using the support pages Orange offer on there website to diagnose the issue.

In the mean time standard procedure suggests using different hardware (ideally theirs) whilst having everything disconnected and running from the master socket.

This method rules out 99.9% of internal wiring issues, Hardware failure and it is something they will most likely ask you to do anyway. Doing this in combination with checking the router settings via their website the only issue that remains is a problem which they must solve.

    Kind Regards,

    Michael.

I now have a NETGEAR modem, which worked perfect for a few hours, then all of a sudden connection was lost!

I called Orange, they dont know why i'm not able to connect to webpages, even though my computer tells me I'm connected.

So now I have no internet, again, they said it will take 5 days to look into it!

So in the mean time I have no internet!

    Hello JKN GT,

moneymonster is correct even though the box failing does not surprise me given Oranges' track record it is covered by a warranty and you should not have to replace it.

    Kind Regards,

    Michael.

Hi if you ring Orange on 550 from your handset the livebox is covered by warranty and they will replace it for you , because of the wep key no other one will work contact Orange they will sort it out for you.

Orange Broadband, with a BT Voyager 2500V modem

    Hi

My Orange Live box has died, a friend has given me a BT Voyager 2500V wireless modem.

    Can I use this?

I'm having trouble setting it up, my Mac wont see it, PC does. Have tried the WEP password but doesnt connect.

Basically is this modem compatible with Orange broadband, before I go buy a new one.

    Thanks in advance

    Graeme
