A high interest, unsecured loan is certain to increase your problems.

You need to contact the people who you owe money to and agree an achievable timetable for repayments. If you visit your local Citizens Advice Bureau, they will help you to work out what you can afford to repay as well as assisting with discussing and agreeing repayment schedules with the people you owe money to.

Bad credit and need a loan

Ive got a bad credit record due to getting help from CCCS to clear my debts when my partner left me. By doing this I automatically get a bad credit reference at any of the Credit rated agencies. I have been signed off sick for most of 2007 plus a massive rent increase in May 2007 this has led me to during the year spend money on a debit card that I now cant pay off every month. Im looking into getting a loan to pay it off and then pay off the loan in 18-24 months as Im now back working fulltime. Where do I go? I know that my building soceity will / can not help - Ive asked. I dont want to try keeping for loans as it will show on my credit report. Does anyone know if there is anywhere I could get a loan, ok I am aware of that I might have to pay higher rate of interest but at the mo I am fine with that as it will help me in the long run.

These websites offering unsecure loans to people with bad credit rating are they to be trusted, any good....??

    Appreciate any help or advise

    many thanks red ridinghood
