    Re: Unstable boardband service???

Hi -- Also further to the advice by maxsteam, I am on the home hub with BT and seem to recall that this particular Hub takes up to 10 days to settle down after it's first connected and finds all it's optimum settings, in this time it can be prone to freezing and disconnecting itself.

I seem to recall I had similar issues to yourself but it did settle down gradually after a week and gave no more problems after, not sure but I think they advised not to switch off the hub during this period. ?

    Re: Unstable boardband service???

Some gaming and video conferencing sites can fill up the cache of temporary internet files on your computer. If the problem goes away when you delete cookies, delete files and/or restart the computer, this will be the cause of your problem. If so, (on Internet Explorer) click Tools > Internet Options > General > Temporary Internet Files > Settings and increase the amount of disc space that you will let these files occupy. If this isn't the problem, you can contact BT and ask them to look at improving the performance of your connection.

    Unstable boardband service???

    Hi everyone,

I just start using BT boardband service (Option 3), in this few days I found that every 1-2 hours I suddenly cannot open any web page, but I can still carry on my online gaming (World of Warcraft) and MSN.

When that situation happens, I ever cannot access to the HomeHub to reconnect, so the only thing I can do is to restart the HomeHub.

Is that any problem with my HomeHub, or that is a common problem in BT?

Please, somebody help me to solve this annoying problem!!!

    Thank you for attention.
