Re: Cash Back Claim Cool New Mobile

I am in a very similar position to Ramesh,  I have sent my 120 bill in and am owed a percentage of £420 for the year

i am aware that according to the website, the administrators will be contacting everyone with a contract through CNM but the website also says there is no posibility that there is sufficiant funds tom pay the creditors.

I am in the position of deciding wether it is any advantage to me to do the following 1.write a letter to CNM / Administrators and threaten legal action if my money is not sent and then 2. take out a small claims court action.  Any advice would be appreciated.

Also, i contacted Vodafone Customer care and advised them of the situation. VCC at first said my contract was with them ie Vodafone, which i did not agree with.  There stance now is that i can end the contract at any time and their retentions dept is going to contact me tomorrow and there was mention that in similar cases they have kept people on the same contract for only £5 permonth -  I will wait and see what they me offer tomorow

Re: Cash Back Claim Cool New Mobile

In your shoes I would cancel the monthly payment and write a letter (send by recorded delivery and keep a copy) to the Administrator stating your position and asking for clarification of the situation. Unless the company are going to honour their side of the contract, you are under no obligation to keep up the payments. Often in administration the creditors only get a proportion of what they were owed.

Cash Back Claim Cool New Mobile

    Dear Rob,

I completed a four month contract with Cool new mobile on 19th Last month, and I sent my cash back claim to them by a recorded delivery. I am no trying to find out the status of my cash back claim status, however there is something wrong with the company. They have been placed into administration. I am totally confused now with how do I take this forward. They have acknowledged the receipt of my cash back claim, however I dont see any signs of getting a cash back. Can you please advice me. I am on a £40 per month contract and If I dont get a cash back I dont want to continue.

    Regards,

    Ramesh Sharma
