    Hi Scott,

thx for your advice. Hadn't realised Ebico catered for prepayment customers. I pay quarterly. I'll look in here again in a couple of months, though I'm mad at having to pay SSE's high prices until then.

    Crunchy,

EBICo are extremely competitive on Prepayment tariffs if that is what you're looking for?

Alternatively, i'd recommend carrying out a comparison by clicking on the 'Gas & Electric' tab at the top of the page.

It's worth noting that we are expecting energy price changes over the next month or two and so I'd advise sitting tight to see which products best suits your individual requirements once all suppliers have reduced their prices.

    Re: No mention of Ebico

    Hello Scott,

I'm trying to find out if I could get a cheaper energy supplier in my area. I had in mind looking at Ebico but I note your comment about them only being agents for SSE, my current supplier. ( Atlantic )

i'm confused as to whether Ebico charges a bit less than going via SSE direct.

Quite happy with SSE....................but can't afford to be paying over the odds for stuff.

    kev2006n,

    Agents:

    Union Energy
    The Utility Warehouse

EBIco are an agent of Scottish & Southern and so you may be interested in the providers Price Fix 2008 tariff. Currently the second cheapest product on the market with prices fixed until Nov 2008. The provider also has the best customer service in the sector.

    Re: No mention of Ebico

Hi Scott, Thank you for your prompt reply. I am happy with Ebico, I pay the bill at the end of the quarter and pay no extra for the facility! I have recently got FREE from British Gas and would never go back again. Are there any other agents around that maybe worth looking at? Many thanks for your help. Kevin

    Re: No mention of Ebico

    kev2006n,

EBIco are an agent and not a licensed provider under Energywatch.

This approach is currently under review and may well mean that all providers and agents are listed on comparison sites.

With regards to whether they are the cheapest provider in your region, I wouldn't be able to say for sure. However, you'd be hard pushed to beat British Gas Click Energy 4 or Scottish & Southern Price Fix 2008.

The best thing to do is call EBIco direct on 0800 458 7689.

    Hope this helps.

    No mention of Ebico

Hi, I thought I would check to see if my current energy suppliers were the best for my usage. However, I currently have Ebico supplying me with gas. They do not seem to feature in your results at all. I just wondered why? Thanks Kevin
