    Hi Adam

    That's no problem at all.

Personally I would take the cover through to the 24th, then if you do encounter any problems you will be covered.

    Hi Maxine,

Thanks so much for your quick reply.

I'll be sure to try OUL Direct, but if I have any problems is it ok to come back to you?

BTW - we're going to Grenada, Caribbean, from Nov 8 until Nov 23/24. Oh, on that point, as our flight leaves on the 23rd but doesn't get home until 24th, which date do I have to extend my policy to?

Kindest regards and thanks once again,

    Adam

    Hi Adsy

I have had a look through for you and yes you are right as it is classed as a hazarrdous sport many insurers do not cover mountain biking, however, OUL Direct do (this is subject to certain conditions).  As I am not sure of where you are travelling to, how long etc I would suggest doing a quote through the Moneysupermaket travel insurance finder and check OUL appear based on your criteria.

Please ensure that you read through the policy wording and check the conditions for this sport and contact the provider if you are unsure of anything.

Hope this helps if you need any further help drop me an email.

    Thanks

    Maxine

    Travel Insurance - mountain biking

Hello, perhaps someone can help me?

I am looking for travel insurance for my partner and but I notice that they don't seem to include mountain biking. We're not mad keen cyclists at all, but were thinking of perhaps doing a mountain bike tour - is it a risk to go ahead with the guided tour given that mountain biking is on the 'not covered' list, or should I persue a policy which includes it?

It may seem like a daft question, but I can't find such a thing anywhere! I would be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction.

    Many thanks in advance,

    Adam
