    Re: Fonezone (Bradford) online

    Dear Crazy Consumer,

You neeed to bring this into the public domain asap, and mount a sort of campaign against this sort of thing. The more of you get together the better.

Trading standards and Ofcom are the next port of call and companies like ORANGE must take some of the blame for this "cashback" system that was set in place. These companies make big bucks, and the dealers are only a tool at their disposal. These dealers make money banking on the off chance that some customers will either "forget" or not send in their cashback claims in the duration of their contract period.

The figures simply do not add up. When you take into account, the monthly charges for each bundle, compared to the commission rate for each successful sale, then they are only taking a "risk" that they will earn anything. There is nothing beneficial in the cashback scheme, it's ultimately the customer who has to fit the bill sooner or later.

This is plain dishonesty and the appropriate action must be taken against the big companies like Orange for offering commission for this sort of deals. They have to be held accountable and the only people I can think of is, writing to local MP's and making an appointment. The government must be made aware of this.

Hopefully then, the big companies will consider these "contracts" as null and void!!!!

    best wishes

You're absolutely right, several people i know have been conned by this conpany myself and whenever they called to find out about the cashback, the sales team always gave some excuse or another.  you will also find that they're very good at talking non stop and it makes sense at the time, but later on you realise they were chatting gibberish!  but what i wanted to know was, how do you get out of this mess? because these people have not been paid back and the mobile network providers are expecting the payments to be made.  when you call them they say that this is not their problem, how do you go past that?

Is there a way I can complain to google, to have it removed from circulation?

Hi -- Only a court has the powers to make that kind of order, I'm afraid.

Although you can complain, there is nothing stopping you from that.

Hi, thanks for that link, I have posted in it. I wanted help in bringing this website in the spotlight and highlight their business practices. Is there a way I can complain to google, to have it removed from circulation?

    Fonezone (Bradford) online

Customers all over the UK have lost out on hundreds if not thousands of pounds in bills that were supposed to have been paid by FoneZone by cashback gimmick but were unable to retreive their funds, by excuses from this company.  Please spread this news to your friends and family.
We have personally had bad experience with this company and feel we need to speak out to spread awareness. I am sure lots of people are in our situation. Their telephone number which is the "sales team" is free on 0800 3894942 and the lines are open promptly at 9am to take in the orders. The "customer services" line is: 0870 2404015 is always "busy" or a message is played that "the person is busy" and call back later. We were unable to cancel our orders because of these DELAYS that delay the 7day cooling period and a right to cancel and send back any phones.
