The sledging in the park sounds fine this should be covered on most policies but the ice skating may need an additional premium. When buying the policy you should speak to the company to confirm your plans and they should be able to confirm whether these will be covered at no extra charge. As long as it is occasional participation rather than the main purpose of the trip then you should get cover without too much trouble.

    Hope this helps.

    Do i need winter activities?

We're planning a trip to visit friends in Montreal next February, and knowing it'll be cold, snowy and icy, hope to do some ice skating and sledging with our family and friends!  Does this count as a winter activity holiday?  Or does one but not the other count - e.g. ice skating we need the extra cover, but sledging in the park would be covered by a normal policy?

     Any help gratefully received!
