    Re: mobile outlet cashback

I sent my 5th, 6th and 7th bill and as you did and exacltly in the same way they are invalidating my whole cash back because they are saying that bill 7th was not included. They are obviously doing this trick regularly and I would like to take investigate the matter. I want to hightlight this to the trading standards and I would appreciate if you could confirm with signature what actually has happened.

    Many thanks,

    Camilla

    Re: mobile outlet cashback

Hi. Souds like I am the latest to bite the dust with Mobile Outlet. Wish I knew before starting my cashback contract. Too late now and oh so unhappy.

The customer service to deal with queries is so bad. You get told a version on the phone which you comply with, only to find out that it was not quite correct.

An example is the dispatch note that needs to be sent with the first cashback claim. I spoke to a cutome service person to whom I explained that I cannot find my dispatch note. I was advised to send my claim in with a covering letter to explain and it should be okay and he would put a note on the computer accordingly. After 2 months (Yes, that is how long it takes to process the claim!), I get a letter to say that I did not comply with the terms and conditions and therefore not entitled to the full claim.

I was offered only half the amount and no matter how much I tried to explain, I was faced with the barrier 'You have read and agreed to the terms and conditions and did not satisfy them to be entitled to your cashback'. Infact, the impression was that I was being offered a favour and I should just shut up and consider myself lucky.

My second tranche of cashback claim generated another saga. I sent my bills accordingly and a covering letter to confirm which bills I was sending (5,6 and 7). For some reason, Mobile Outlet received bills 5 and 6. Bill 7 was not received in time. How do you explain that. I posed the question in writing as this is the only way to get a response, which takes in excess of 2 months.

The worst part was that because I did not comply with the terms and conditions, I invalidated my whole cash back claim. I was gobsmacked. It is my word against theirs.

I suggested digging my covering letter but I got the standard response 'You have read and agreed to the terms and conditions and did not satisfy them to be entitled to your cashback'.

Cheap can be expensive. Mobile Outlet is living proof.

    Re: mobile outlet cashback

I'm having a similar problem with mobileoutlet. I bought my nokia phone in March and sent off my first 4 bills with dispatch note recorded delivery but haven't received anything. They haven't even replied to my emails. It has been 70 days now which is ridiculous. I phoned the customer careline and apparently the office in Shipley was flooded and they have moved to central Bradford.

I suggest writing a formal complaint and if there is still no response, to the trading standards.

    mobile outlet cashback

i took out a contract with 3 mobile via mobile outlet thinking i would be getting cashback  i did what they said i had to do to receive my first 6 months cashback which was to send in all six months 3 mobile statements the first one being downloaded as i had never received the first invoice, i then sent it recorded delivery along with a s.a.e for my statements to be returned (my proof they had received them) but for some reason they only kept the first statement and sent the other 5 back to me.    i made many calls and e-mails and sent the 5 statements back to them as requested they confirmed every thing had arrived  then after months of this they sent a letter stating that i would not be getting any cashback i feel very annoyed and conned by this company and complained to 3 mobile who just appolgised but did nothing why should the public be treated so badly by these companies i read in the sunday express that you sometimes help get some of the money back which totals over £300   can we let other people know not to take out contracts with these companies? i would be grateful for an answer from rob barnes as i here he is very good.  thank you
