Pipex have acheived a level of incompetence and rotten customer service that must surpass any other and I think it is my duty to leave them once and for all, but who should I go for?   I only require one computer to have internet access and am uneasy about wireless systems anyway. I have no idea if my computer has an ethernet card, it is about 3 years old with an Alcatel speed touch modem provided by Pipex when I joined them 5 years ago.  Note also I have Pipex homecall as my telephone provider!

My priorities in order of priority are:

1) Easy set up and migration from Pipex

2) Good customer service

3) Cost

4)   Moderate speed and capability  (8MB/s and 5GB/month cap would be more than OK)

Madasafish and BE seem to be the best commercially, but setting up might be a nightmare.  It would be nice if I could use the same Modem.
