Uninsurable Drivers

Drink-driving, speeding, driving without car insurance, verbal abuse against bus users, destruction of public property and chasing down fellow motorists while dressed as a pirate. These are just some of the motoring offences committed by some of our best-loved TV characters.

But which one is the most uninsurable? Is it Homer Simpson, with his propensity for drink-driving and falling asleep at the wheel? Or perhaps it’s Peter Griffin from Family Guy, who once lost his licence for stunt driving in his red mid-1980s Station Wagon.

It could even be Mr Bean, who famously drove his Mini while sitting on the roof using only a mop and a piece of rope to steer...
