All companies these days dont show loyallyt to their customers, who have been with them for years the only people they our interested in are new customers with their great deals to get them on board once this happens they our then treated like the rest of their customers.I have rated this company high because of their very polite call centre and any issue i have with them is sorted right away.

I went to Southern Electric in March 2011 as their prices were good and they had a good customer service record. Now I have received notification that my package will finish at the end of December and the best package they could now give me would mean a 50% price increase since I joined them in March. They get you on board and then hope that you will not be bothered to change and just accept their increases. The customer service has actually turned out to be diabolical. When I phoned them I was told "it was in the small print", couldn't understand my first bill, I asked for an explanation and their accounts dept did not understand why it had been done that way either. Gave my old supplier the wrong meter reading even though I had given it to them. Don't trust them!

if you want a company thats that cares about its custers go elsewhere, trying to get anywhere with these poeple is a waste of time,im chaning to better firm.

This is an update to my BetterPlan bonus review dated 30th July 2011.I have had confirmation that Southern Electric will pay me a bonus of £15 as a good will gesture.. SE response,Quote I am very grateful that you have taken the time to bring these concerns to my attention, The fact it only states the review info the electricity account is another thing I have suggested they change. It is not clear to our customer that the review is based on both. This effectively ends my dispute with Southern Electric

I have reduced my Electricity consumption by 48% for the period January - July 2011.compared to the same period 2010.Southern Electric have not paid me a Bonus because they have said I must reduce both the Gas & Electric.I dispute this statement because the reference to the Bonus payment is only on my Electric Bill account.It is not mentioned at all on the Gas bill account. Also there is not mention that you have to reduce the Gas & Electric by more than 10% to qualifty for their bonus of £10 for £25 if you reduce consumption by more than 20%. I will be raising this dispute I have with the Ombudsman
