Not interested in keeping loyal customer

Supplier Ratings

I have contacted S.P by their email on 2 occasions and both times received vague answers regarding thier pricing policy and reveiwing my personal useage, they dont seem to care whether they have you on a suitable price plan and their billing doesnt show the different tiers in the charges so its impossible to work out what plans would be better.Their D.D calculations leave you seriously in credit and they are slow to downwardly adjust these, but they are very fast in adjusting them up siting market conditions. I have switched supplier as S.P wont react to lower wholesale pricing until 31 march. I was paying S.P £120 per month and have reduced this to £90 by switching, I suggest everyone shops around as apathy is what all these suppliers want so they can maximise their take from you.

Supplier Ratings

Not great. Was on a fixed rate with them, which was fine, but when it ended, they upped my bill by more than £30 per MONTH! That was enough to make me switch, although the phone operators are very pleasant.

Pants service

Supplier Ratings

Increasing direct debit even when in credit and also on a fixed price. They do what they like and stuff the customers. Would not recommend Scottish power to anyone as they seem to taking advantage of the fact that we have just had the coldest winters on record.

Good service but now uncompetitive

Added 27/02/2010, reviewed by anonymous (Cardiff)

Supplier Ratings

My experience is entirely via the website, which is reasonably clear and give full information including history of energy usage. When I signed on the price was competitive, but it now costs a great deal more then the cheapest alternative, largely because discounts for monthly direct debit and on-line account management are very small by comparison.
