Scottish Hydro (SSE) supplies 9 million energy customers comprising of 5.53 million electricity customers and 3.47 million gas customers. They generated the most renewable electricity in the UK compared with the other 5 major suppliers, from 1 April 2007 to 31 March 2008. They are one of the leading energy companies in the UK and the country's second largest energy supplier, ranking 23rd in the FTSE 100 on 31 March 2009.

hydro lived up to their promises .good tarrifs.we went for a fixed price tarrif .no worries until november

Can't be beaten!!!

Well folks I made the transission to Hydro a while ago and was persuaded by N power that they were Cheaper. After searching on here and othere comparisons I found this was the case.....however.... moving to N power was the worst decision I ever made! I found the customer service appaling, my bills were in fact more expensive (even tho these sites said they wouldn't be....how is that?) and the transfer was a nighmare! So I was very happy to sign back up with one of the girls in Almondvale centre a few months ago!God bless Scottish Hydro!!!
