I was with Scottish Hydro for years in my flat using same electricity as I do in my home now - washing machine tumble dryer, dishwasher ect - use to get money back when I stayed in my flat but now I am receiving bills for double the amount i signed up for - not sure if its because my tarif expired but hey ho im off to eon for a change seen as i have paid all my debt now ready to get some more !! arnt the bills soooo confusing???

not one of the several representatives i spoke to listened to a word i said i had not managed to get out to pay a small charge i had outstanding due to the fact that my wife is in the final stages of cancer and i need to be with her 24/7 i explained this to them and said i would pay as soon as i could but i was totally ignored

Quick and painless transfer to them. Easy to use online billing system. No problems, so don't know how they would have handled them.

In our new property, SH took weeks to work out the correct address for the electric meter, despite us offering to read the meter number (they said the number rarely corresponds with their info) and when someone (after several calls) took the number, lo and behold they found the correct address! They had no gas registered at the address and insisted that we had no gas supply, despite us insisting that we had, eh, gas central heating! After several months of not paying for any gas we phoned and insisted they try harder to find the meter. Eventually they found it... with a wrong name, address, an outstanding bill of £905 from way before our time and a warrant to break in and disconnect the supply in a few days time! The staff are friendly but poorly trained - I feel sorry them!

Prices rose while we were on them, and noone rang to offer us a cheaper option when our deal ran out, but otherwise fine. I liked being able to text in the meter readings - very handy. They just are not the cheapest provider any more, so here's hoping the next one will be as good...
