From now on it’s E.ON. As of December 3rd 2007 Powergen became E.ON, one of the world's largest investor owned energy companies, who is committed to changing energy for the better. That means they want to change where we get energy from, how we receive it and how we use it more efficiently.

In the UK, E.ON’s generation business produces enough electricity to cater for the needs of around eight million homes. E.ON is one of the leading green generators, with 21 wind farms located from Cornwall to Northern Ireland and has recently finished building the UK’s largest dedicated biomass power stations at Lockerbie.

E.ON is currently developing one of the world's largest offshore wind farms, which will be built here, in UK waters.

best price in 06/07 slowly slid down table. gimmicks like clubcard points don't make up for higher than average prices

They could not get me my bills on time because of a meter change and when they finally had my bill ready, it was that high I was in debit! I was paying £35 p/w. Thiink It's quite high for a two bedroomed flat! Different departments were not communicating with each other...so I've had enough!

My previous supplier was Southern Electric and they were awful; Unintelligible bills, shocking customer service. I switched to E.On and was pleasantly surprised. Bills were clear, online facility (usage graphs, etc.) is very good and customer service was okay until they tried to hike my monthly DD massively. They have a new policy apparently that you should be in credit at the end of the winter (i.e. you should be in credit all year round so that they're never out of pocket). Tried reasoning with them to no avail. to am moving on. Shame really, but I did warn them.

i was with powergen for many years before these took over, and never had a problem until then!! suddenly after 20 years of using a budget scheme payment, eon decided to change it leaving me in a mess. i would not recomend this company for people on low incomes who don't use a lot of gas. i'm in the process of looking to change and have already phoned to tell them; i'm fumming..

Looking after my mothers account due to her being blind and aged 95. EON in their wisdom sent out an E-mail offering her online billing and the savings that can be made by switching. EON have been informed on three previous occasions by letter and E mail of current situation of person being blind and unable to READ Meter and does not have a computer. The E Mail was from the Communications Department of EON. Enough said.
