Have had absolutely no problems with EON over the past 2 years. They have always suggested the best rate if I request this by phone or online. The bills are clear and they have a great online energy tracker so you can see exactly what you're using month-on-month. Also, they put my monthly payments down as soon as I was in credit at the end of the year. They are not quite the cheapest supplier for me at the moment, but I am loathe to move when I see some of the comments regarding the other major players.

regret that they did not feel that the lower energy price should not be passed onto the customer in full. Therefor every review I paid 20% or so increase even when my usage declined,

I have had no problems with EON whatsoever and would happily come back to them one day, I am simply moving for a better price.

After been with them a year, I had fallen behind with my payments. I spoke to a customer services representative, and they looked at my account and saw that when I had signed up I had signed up to the wrong tarrif, and they changed the tarrif for be back dating it to when i had joined, then gave me all the discounts etc I would have been entitled too if I hadn't been such a noob. They knocked around £300 off my amount owed and then rejiggled my payments. My debt is now gone and my payments are nice and low again.

The whole experience of changing suppliers with E.ON has been a nightmare. There was some confusion due to an incorrect meter reference number , which was not their fault, but following that discovery it still took E.ON over 6 months to send me an accurate final bill. During this time I have received a number of innacurate final bills, and even threatened with debt collectors when the account was supposed to be frozen as they had billed me incorrectly! The complaints advisors are nice and helpful but don't seem to complete what they say they will. Overall a stressful and very unpleasant experience. I would never have E.ON as my supplier or recommend them.
