Overall

I have had first class customer service, clear & reliable bills and no problems with Atlantic. I am leaving only for a better financial deal elsewhere.....I might well be back soon.

I have been with Atlantic for 3 years now and have had a hassle free experience. I find I have very little to cause to contact them but when I do it is a freephone number and takes only a few minutes to talk to a friendly and helpful member of staff. Bills are estimated but it only takes seconds to sumbit a meter reading online and a new bill arrives by email within 48 hours so I always have accurate and up to date accoount statements. Overpayments are refunded without me asking which is always a nice surpirse. Prices have been on the gradual increase and they seem uninterested in reducing them despite the current economic climate. I will be looking to switch but can I find another company as good as this one but cheaper, I'm not so sure???

I initially set up with Atlantic for their charges and tarrifs, plus they still manually read meters as I was concerned about spending time away on operations and missing meter readings myself. I discovered though that more of my bills were based on estimated readings. I complained and they apologised dealing with the complaint reliably. More recently they have read my meter when I have not been able to. Telephone support has been good and although I had to remind them to credit me my first cash-back they complied and it was automatic after that. about £140 more expensive than the cheapest supplier this Oct 09 so sadly I will migrate. Good customer service is worth less than £140 to me.

have been paying by DD for last 2 years and have constantly been building up credit. Spent several long phone calls trying to get a refund of overpayment and to reduce the DD. Still not happened!!!
