I got this as a replacement for my 4 year old Hotpoint which finally gave up the goose. Zanussi are a good make and in terms of built quality and features, this is a good standard of white goods. However.....one thing I didn't research was drum size. My previous Hotpoint could fit in a large rug or single duvet no problem - this Zanussi won't as the drum is that much smaller. This is inconvenient. Also I own dogs, and was able to rinse out dog hair from doing dog bedding/towel washes in my previous machine no problem. The rinse function on this Zanussi isn't as good, meaning that even after running an empty rinse cycle, you still need to hoover out the drum to remove the last of the hair before the next wash!
