In 1998 Valve unleashed Half Life...a story driven action adventure which turned the gaming world on it's head. Then, in 2004, they suprised us all again with Half Life 2. Could it get any better than this? People tried, with some good games like Fear, Rainbow 6, Quake 4, Far Cry etc but none really touched upon the greatness of the Half Life series. Until Bioshock came along. An action adventure RPG and spiritual successor to System Shock 2, Bioshock came along and showed that the FPS genre wasn't stale, by creating a fully realised world of possibilities. It pushed the quality of games forward and has thrown the challenge down: better me if you can! It's due out soon on the PS3, so all the Sony faithful best pre-order it or miss out on a simply amazing gaming experience!
