Bought this laptop as a replacement to a compaq presario m2000 that i had for 4 years and absolutely hated it. Having bought the toshiba for a supriseingly good price £390 i have been nothing but impressed, build quality excellent, looks excellent, performance excellent, the 2gb of ram and the 250gb hard drive copes verry well to my needs mainly internet browsing listening to music etc the only time its been off is when ive been in work, one absolute stunning laptop well done toshiba !!!!!!!!

If you like tosh you'll like this but when compared to LG the price lets toshiba down but the customer service is great from these guys and the picture quality is ok to my brother has his on a remote control stand and that looks the bees knees

I have a tecra and a sat pro and the sat pro is due for an upgrade to this one. Cant wait to order it next week.

Tosh laptops have been around now since the lapto age and are probably the best I have this model and it is truly a great piece of machinary light and durable.

I bought this as a replacement for my Dell. What drew me to this was a) price and b) generous disc space given the price. I've had this for about 8 months now and have had no real problems. It's a good size, it gets a little hot under prolonged use and the fans have to work big-time to keep it calm but I've had no problems with it. I have heard this is a fault which others have noticed to their detriment though. It suffers normal wear and tear admirably, the only criticism is that the battery has begun to lose capacity fairly early on. When I first bought this it was giving me almost 4 hours - great - however now it's giving me around 1.2 hours. Perhaps I've been overcharging it, but that's a bit disappointing. Build quality overall is good though.
