Made it through the wash

10 October 2009 To Apple I’m a 27 year active duty Marine, who start day off in the Gym 6 day a week, with my 8 GB IPod Nano. Well tuesday of last week in finished my workout whet back to my quarters , forgetting my nano in my pocket. I put my clothes in the wash. 35 min later I came back to put my close in the dryer to notice that I had washed my nano and ear phones. I was mortified , at the thought that all of my workout music was lost. It would have taken me about a week to buy a new one and put the music back on just the way I like it. I noticed I turn it off and locked it. I sat it up right, said a prayer and went to work. I got back to my quarters walked over picked up my nano plugged in the charger, let it charge for about 1 hour , and it worked. im so happy.

A Portable Music Dream.

For many a year my attention was never captured by any apple product, let alone an ipod. My Creative Zen extra had seen me through hell and high water, a true behemouth of an MP3 player. sadly one fateful tuesday morning as i trudged to work the Zen had its last fall. It was no more. I replaced it with this ipod, as an easy option more than anything. i instantly fell for it. its interface is extremely easy to get to grips with, even for someone as slow as me. It's organisation of my vast collection of music was spot on straight away, and dare i say better than the Zen. It's synching with itunes was smooth, like fine mash potato, and almost as creamy. My one draw back with it to date has been a slight issue when using my brother's synching cable, which caused it to crash mid synch.

better than I expected

This ipod is tiny, so I expected a very limited battery life. But the ipod (mine is a cool blue) plays for days without recharging and the sound quality is superb. Well done moneysupermarket.com for encouraging me to buy one!

iPod Touch is great...iPhone is greater

Although this is a really nice bit of technology to get your hands on and provides you with so much, being the owner of an iPhone, I'd say it worth that little bit extra for you to spend a similar amount of money on an iPhone!

Good if you love all music!

I love all types of music and get bored of listening to the same thing all the time so this is great for when I feel like going for as run, its light weight and has a clip on it so you dont have to worry about it falling out of your pocket while your jogging, it also shuffles through you list of selected songs and never in the same order! Its great when a beating song comes on coz you feel motivated to run faster!! ha!

This laptop is brilliant

Have to admit I love anything Apple - BUT, bias aside this is a great machine. So easy to use, MAC OSX is streets ahead of Microsoft - really intuitive. The best bit for me is iTunes, fully integrated, bang in a CD to download and its done in seconds and you dont even need to touch a button. Web browsing is fast, overall just a great laptop - had no problems with it in the 2 years I have had it. Its worth that bit extra over boring black boxes

The I POD Touch

When these were realesed I just had to get one, being as I love gadgets. I have had various mp3 players in the past but never an ipod. I cannot fault the user interface and the quality of the screen, and the audio is great, battery life is quite poor, but I guess you cant have everything I Tunes is particularly easy to use, and syncing your ipod with the pc is a piece of cake. Would now not go back to a normal music player.

Decent piece of kit

This little ipod is perfect if you want high quality music, but don't care about all the flashy extras that bump up the price on MP3 players. You know with an iPod it's gotta be good, and it is! The battery life after a full charge is around 2 days unless you're listening all day in which it's about 24 hours. They come in a ton of colours and even though they're very simple they do look nice! They come with a clip attached so they're perfect for exercise or travel and they won't weigh down your pockets.

Looks nice, feels nice, awful quality

I was quite pleased with this player when I first got it. I've used it at the gym etc, exactly what they advertised it for. Sadly after a year it started to play up (no pun intended) and it's pretty awful since. The battery life is awful, I'm lucky if I get a few hours out of it. It keeps crashing where only a 'hard reset' will get it back up and running. But the most annoying of all is that it fails to turn off so many times. You should be able to do this either by holding the play button or by choosing "sleep" from the menu, but neither work. This then leaves me no choice but to leave it on until the battery runs out (which is luckily never more than 2-3 hours away). It's nice for a while, but with this many problems I wouldn't recommend it.

Fantastic

Fantastic but If I'm going to complain about anything I'd make it a bit more durable and a bit lower in price.

Great Little iPod

I bought this as a Christmas present for my partner and was definitely worth it. Great quality sound & video! Looks great too - only problem we had was with the earphones that come with the ipod. I'd recommend to buy better ones!

My first iPod experience!

I finally decided to join,(what seems to be) the rest of the world and bought my first iPod. The Touch appealed to me as I love gadgets! I'm so glad I got one, especially now the App Store is available! The only negative thing i've got to say is that the battery life is terrible when browsing the internet (on WiFi), although, I can't fault the battery with music which I guess is the important aspect!

Good but a bit old fashioned now

I bought one of these for my wife, she didn't really care about video and having a billion songs on her. It does just fine but its not that great when you consider what you can do with other players these days. You can't specify a song or even an album to play from it just plays songs at random - hence the name "Shuffle".

Just wish the earphones were better!!!

The Ipod 80 GB classic is combines all the simplistic fuctionality that we have come to expect from the Ipod range with features including cover flow for your album artwork. The sound quality output by this player is a usual High standard but I find you do have to upgrade your earphones. The apple supplied phones just don't cut it when you can buy high quality phones from Sennheiser for as little as £30. Overall the 80gb classic is a fantastic purchase at a good price!

Useful..........

I bought one of these as they are much easier to use in the gym! they are light and compact. Memory isnt the best, but it holds more than I need considering the amount of time i'm in the Gym! It also has a clip so it just clips onto my t-shirt! Much easier than huge ipods in your pocket! Definately a 'must-buy'

Lovely bit of kit

I admit it I'm a complete Ipod addict. I've wasted hours of my life playing with track listings, art and other stuff on Itunes. The Ipod touch is basically the Iphone...without the phone bit. You can download applications, games, music and video (Screen is big and sharp for watching movies).
