When searching for car insurance consumers are prompted to set the excess limit they wish to pay, however, in some cases insurers will also set a compulsory excess. moneysupermarket.com now clearly displays this in the results table, so that users of the car insurance comparison tool know exactly what level of excess they would be expected to pay if they were to opt for that particular policy.

Moneysupermarket.com car insurance has also added new providers on to its panel. The latest car insurance additions are Santander and Elephant. Visitors to the car insurance comparison tool can now compare 117 prices*.
