moneysupermarket.com, the UK's leading price comparison site, today reveals its 'next generation' motor insurance channel which will radically change the way customers search for car cover and save them even more time and money.  The channel is now the most powerful motor insurance comparison service available, and with 88 brands compared, the most comprehensive too.

  • 'Real time' prices providing customers with 100 per cent accurate quotes

The next generation motor channel includes a completely new question set which removes all assumptions.  This means that quotes should be 100 per cent accurate, all the time - so the price you see is the actual price you pay.

Once customers get to the results table they can make use of the new Policy Wizard.  This new feature allows consumers to tailor their policy to add and remove features and see how the insurance quotes change in real time.  Variables that can be changed include the vehicle (ideal for those considering which car to buy, or those insuring more than one car), voluntary excess (from £0 to £1000), legal cover, courtesy car, windscreen cover, personal accident, and protected no claims discount.  Customers can also toggle between fully comprehensive,  third party fire & theft and third party only to see how the prices change in real time.
