The current leader of the pack is Talk Talk, which has just made its best deal even better by offering a £25 Love2Shop voucher, which can be used in over 20,000 stores across the UK, to any customers that sign up to its 12-month, half-price deal through MoneySupermarket.
For just £3.25 per month, this deal gives Talk Talk customers a market-leading connection speed of up to 24Mb, a monthly usage limit of 40GB, unlimited evening and weekend calls (subject to fair usage policy) as well as a free wireless router and free connection.
This means that when the £25 voucher is factored in customers can effectively get their broadband package for a bargain £14 a year.
In addition, it's worth noting that customers should receive their vouchers in time for Christmas.
But if, for whatever reason, you do not want to take up the Talk Talk offer, what other deals are currently available? We take a look at how this deal stacks up against some of the other broadband deals ...
What else is on offer?
Sky is offering what could be considered the next best deal, with up to 20Mb connection speed, no monthly usage limit, free connection and free evening and weekend calls for a total of £67.50 per year.
Customers pay just £3.75 per month for the first six months and then £7.50 per month for the remainder of the contract.
Orange is offering existing mobile customers 12 month deal that includes up to 20Mb connection speed, unlimited usage, a wireless router, free connection and unlimited calls to UK landlines, including 0870 and 0845 numbers for £10 per month.
In addition to this package customers also receive £40 in Amazon gift vouchers.
BT's best deal is an 18 month contract that offers up to 20Mb download speed, free evening and weekend calls, free connection and four free months free usage.
This works out at a first year cost of £110 which, although cheaper than the Orange deal, may not be considered as good as not only are customers tied in for 18 months as opposed to 12 but they are also confined to a monthly usage limit of just 10Mb.
In comparison, Virgin Media has an eight month deal that costs £216 over the first year and works out at £23 per month.
Although this seems particularly pricey in comparison to the others, it's worth noting that this includes Virgin's M+ TV package, which gives customers an extra 67 channels and a 500GB TiVo television receiver.
Free weekend calls via Virgin's Phone M are also included in this package as is unlimited monthly usage, however, Virgin offer the slowest connection rate with only 10Mb of download speed available.

Don't forget line rental
If you are looking to connect to broadband for the first time or even change your current provider then it is worth considering that all of the prices quoted above are subject to an extra monthly line rental charge.
At just £10 per month, BT offers the cheapest line rental on the market, followed by Sky at £12.25 per month and Orange at £12.75 month.
The Talk Talk offer is slightly let down by the monthly line rental charge of £13.80 whilst Virgin does nothing to buck the trend of being one of the most expensive providers with a monthly fee of £13.90.
However, it is worth bearing in mind that in order to get BT's low cost line rental, you must sign up for 'Line Rental Saver', whereby you pay your home telephone line rental for the whole year in one card payment of £120.
If you'd rather pay monthly with BT, then line rental will cost you £13.90. This goes up to £14.60 a month with effect from December 3.
Verdict
Despite that fact that Talk Talk's line rental costs aren't the lowest available, its current deal is hard to beat for anyone looking for a high speed connection and generous usage limit - as well as unlimited evening and weekend calls.
And at a time when most of us are feeling the pinch, the £25 voucher is an added bonus which sets it apart from the competition.
