e2save cash back con

Have done cash back before and been happy with it, but never again with e2save. They sent me two entirely different addresses to redeem cash back from - and sent two conflicting tables of when I was to send bills back. I never got a penny back. E2Save gives cashback a bad name and Car Phone Warehouse, who owns it, shouldn't be allowed to hide behind the name.

Impossible to get your cash back

I had so many problems getting my cash backs, even though each one was submitted on time and to the correct address. I had to constantly chase them for answers (and yes, they do actually cut you off), was given conflicting information and then the address for the submissions was changed without any prior notification. One thing - do make sure you record all names and times of your calls and try to get one person to take responsibility. They claimed that bills had been lost in their internal systems and so I needed to re-submit bills even though I had sent the original by recorded delivery. Overall, it's not worth the hassle - you will chase them for every bill. This is one company I would never use again and would never recommend to anyone.

Bad service - cash back rip off

Previously used cash back claims with no problems, so I'm not a novice. Problem I had with E2Save was that I ordered by phone and was not provided with an ID number to log into their cashback link to confirm dates for sending back paperwork. Spent ages trying to get through to their helpline and was told duff information that meant that I was too late on my first claim and therefore lost them all. Plus auto cashback never arrived until I phoned them several times chasing it (shouldn't have to do this on auto cashback claim). Delivery was very good, but they loose points as I had to pay extra to get it delivered to my work address.

Rip off merchants

Got sucked in by the E2Save bargain of cashback. I read the forums before taking the plunge so I knew there was no mercy when it came to submitting the bill/cashback vouchers. Not a problem I thought, I double checked the contract and dates sheet that came with the phone.... downloaded the same from their website. I even rang them (that's a task in itself) before sending first bill to check I had the dates correct. No problem. Sent all bills within 1 day of bill being available on the website (online billing) all sent recorded post. However six months in I got a response saying I had missed the cut off by one day!! It appears the contract I was on was not what they'd sent me or was on their website... so my target dates where different ?? ABSOLUTE CROOKS!! AVOID

Getting Cashback was like pulling teeth

Very poor service. Wrote back to me saying cashback was "too early" with no further details. Rang and rang and rang - finally WENT DOWN to Loughborough where they are based and got committment to cashback after posing as new customer to get past security. Vowed Never deal with CarPhoneWarehouse or subsidiaries again. Poor comms - web "service unavailable" when cancelling phonecare insurance. Took phone for repair - no temporary phone available for me despite £5.99 p.month paid! Daylight robbery
