Key Connect is part of the Heath & Lambert Group – the largest independent insurance and reinsurance broker in Europe. It is regulated by the Financial Services Authority and has access to quotes from many of the UK’s leading insurance companies including AXA, Legal & General and Prestige. Key Connect focuses on providing affordable home insurance (also known as ‘house insurance’ or ‘household insurance’) to its customers.

Key Connect offers both buildings insurance and contents insurance – with standard cover available as well as the option to add on extra cover. Its standard buildings cover automatically provides insurance in the event of a fire, storm or flood damage, along with subsidence and falling trees or lampposts.

Furthermore, the Key Connect home insurance policy provides a number of optional extras such as general accidental damage cover, money cover up to £350, credit card cover up to £500, theft of belongings left in a car up to £500 and frozen food cover up to £300.

As additional services Key Connect offers both legal cover and a key recovery service. Its key recovery service is particularly extensive with up to £1,000 towards locksmiths’ charges, up to three days car hire if stranded through a loss of keys and a £10 reward to the finder of your keys to help you get them back.
