    About MG

The MG name is taken from Morris Garages, a distributor of Morris cars. MG production ceased in early 2005 when MG Rover went into liquidation, however it is expected that production will resume again sometime in 2007.

MG is perhaps best known for its open top, two-seater sports cars, although in more recent years the MG badge has been used for sportier versions of the parent company's range of models including coupes, saloons and hatchbacks.
