Maserati are renowned for their sports cars and racing cars and are now part of the Fiat Group, having originally been part of Ferrari. In 2005, Maserati was separated from the Ferrari brand and, with Alfa Romeo, now forms part of Fiat's plans to expand and develop a luxury sports car sector.
