About Ferrari
The Ferrari brand was created in 1947 in Maranello, Itay and the prancing horse badge is now firmly established as the finest example of Italian style and design. The company was able to expand and develop further once Fiat arrived as a shareholder and technical partner in 1969.
Today, all Ferraris have an all-aluminium chassis and are symbols of technical excellence, thanks to Ferrari’s reputation as a pioneer in automotive engineering. The company currently builds nearly 5,000 cars each year with production split by two engine types – the V8-engined cars such as the F430 and F430 Spider and the V-12 engined cars such as 599 GTB Fiorano 2-seater berlinetta and the flagship 2+2 612 Scaglietti.
