About Daewoo
Daewoo is a Korean company whose short-lived European production ended in January 2005 with a re-branding to the Chevrolet name. Chevrolet, part of the General Motors group, has now taken on the name of many popular Daewoo models including the Matiz, Kalos and Lucetti. The company led the US car sales chart from 1936 – 1976 and to put this success into perspective, every sixteenth car on the planet is now a Chevrolet.
The current range launched in February 2006 and consists of small city cars and 'family' cars (with an optional estate version).
