    About Caterham

2005 was possibly the most significant year in the 40+ years of Caterham’s car making history. The company was sold by the Nearn family after an ownership spanning more than 40 years and it launched its new CSR model – the biggest leap forwards for the design of the Seven in Caterham’s history.

Caterham has been selling the Seven since the fifties and purchased the rights to manufacture the car from Lotus in the seventies. The company has been building and selling the Seven globally ever since and there are now more Sevens being used for racing than any other single marque.
