Launched in 1997, Hastings Direct is a division of Hastings Insurance Services with three contact centres in the UK. It is now the fifth largest personal lines insurance intermediary in the UK with its initial product, Hastings Direct car insurance (also known as ‘Hastings Direct motor insurance’) remaining as the company’s focal point.

The company searches a panel of leading insurers to find the best quote for you based on your individual circumstances.

One of the ways to save even more on your car insurance is to stay accident free – you could build up a no-claims discount as high as 70 per cent with five or more years’ no-claims.

Hastings Direct car insurance aims to offer a first class service with a comprehensive package of benefits included within the policy. This includes a free courtesy car if your car is being repaired by an approved repairer. There are also additional products available to add-on such as breakdown cover and legal protection.
