“Who gives you extra?” is the catchy slogan of Halifax, part of the Halifax Bank of Scotland (HBOS) group – one of the most renowned financial institutions in the UK. Now, Halifax is attempting to apply that philosophy to a range of insurance products including Halifax car insurance (also known as ‘Halifax motor insurance’).
With Halifax car insurance you can choose the type of policy you want before adding any extras you want. There is a choice of three levels of cover – third party only, third party fire and theft and comprehensive car insurance.
As an incentive to new customers, Halifax car insurance offers a 10 per cent online discount. Further discounts can be earned if you stay accident free – up to 65 per cent no-claims discount is achievable after five years.
In terms of cover, Halifax car insurance will provide a courtesy car while yours is being repaired as well as a five-year guarantee on repairs if you use one of its recommended repairers. Further additional benefits can be added such as motoring legal protection and Green Flag breakdown cover.
