Good provider

Broadband Ratings

Good service. Modem worked by simply plugging it in, no configuration required. Only thing I would like to see is a all calls package.

Could do better !!

Broadband Ratings

Been with PO for about 5 months after moving house and despite being fairly 'rural' the changeover to PO was fairly trouble free. Broadband service good but have recently experienced a problem whilst trying to contact them to arrange for BT to do a line 'shift'. Some of their cust. services staff seemed to have difficulty in grasping what was required . Spent ages on the phone being passed from dept to dept. Eventually appt was made- waited all day & no sign of anyone. Apparently BT had contacted PO but they didn't call us. Again more calls and several hours wasted. Another appt made which was then cancelled later the same day. We still haven't resolved the problem !. So mixed experiences with the PO to be fair.....though their customer services could certainly do much better.

Absolute nightmare

Added 27/02/2010, reviewed by Diane Iliff (Woodhall Spa)

Broadband Ratings

I joined homephone and broadband October 09, the broadband was taken over from Tiscali, and the Homephone was meant to be taken over from Sky. What a nightmare it is now end of February, and it still isnt settled. Sky have billed me for my calls, the post office never took over the account fully, they have admitted to this. But the phone bill from Sky is obviously to there tariff and not the post office, I havent had any reply from the PO as to what there intentions are, a apology or anything for all the stress they have caused. I have been left to sort out with Sky and PO without any help from either party, they just blamed each other. i have been emailing and writing and phoning for 4 months solid. I have been held holding on the phone ages then cut off. It as been a mistake.

great package

Broadband Ratings

Been with the po for nearly a year and so for had only one night of no internet. Speed is great for pc and xbox online gaming, easy set-up and allways happy with the bill. What really sells this package is the free calls to mobiles on weekends which i think no other provider ummm provides.
