    Vodafone Upgrading

Have been with vodafone for years very happy with service etc, however last year upgraded mobile as usual for another 12months. Went to phone the upgrade line to see when i could get a new mobile and was told yes you have upgraded for 12months (as it states in the booklet they sent me as well) they have upgraded me onto an 18-month price plan which means that i will not be able to upgrade until october? How can they just decide to change the term when i didnt ask for 18 months and it tells me in the information they sent me "thanks for signing up for another 12 months!!!!"

This exact thing happened to my Mrs with O2. She called them to contest it and they just rolled over, adjusted it accordingly and sent written confirmation.

Try that first. Hope it's as simple as that for you.... Let us know how you get on...

    Hi Mark

If you're upgrade is for 12 months, you'll be able to upgrade from 10-12 months. In short, it can't just be changed to an 18 month contract.

I'd like the opportunity to get this sorted for you. Can you please contact me using our Online Contact Form and include the code FIT135 in the body of your email. This makes sure it reaches our eForum Team.

Look forward to hearing from you soon.
