    Utilities

Used moneysupermarket to signup for utilities through Scottish Power.
The problem I'm experiencing is that Scottish Power say the payments are calculated when details are entered on website and moneysupermarket say they are not and are calculated from previous provider which Scottish Power says it does not do it receives them through the online broker.
This is just going around & around without getting anywhere. Who can provide the answer?
Reason for checking this is that the gas charges do not relate to what I expect.

    Theostarmoon,

Moneysupermarket.com calculate your current consumption/spend in order to provide you with an accurate comparison of the market. This information is not sent to the provider within your application. It is therefore the energy providers responsibility to calculate your payments.

    I hope this helps.

    theostarmoon,

Is it that the provider is not charging you the correct unit rates or that your monthly payments are higher than you expected?

Can you confirm when you applied and also which product it is you are on with Scottish Power.
