    useless techinal support and money grabbers!!!

    If you're thinking of signing up to pipex...think again!!!

    I've been with pipex for 5 years and back then they were a small company, no one knew them and they looked after the customers they had. Nowadays where they're big and everyone knows them, they don't care about customers anymore and are becoming big headed.

    Earlier this year we lost our internet connection because there was maintenance being carried out on our local exchange by BT, pipex didn't inform us about this.

    After the maintenance was due to finish our connection was still down. I called technical support and they referred by fault to engineer. Pipex said to allow 6 full working days for the engineers to have a look and troubleshoot the problem and for me to call back to check on progress. 12 days later I rung up to find out the progress and guess what? No one in those 12 days had even looked at it and the fault still wasn't resolved a month later, so I moved onto the post office broadband. All the technical support operators hadn't a clue what to suggest they're was a communication breakdown in our fault notes as each operator said "We're you told this?" "Well the operator you spoke to should have told you to do this!"

    Pipex they then had to cheek to charge me for the period of time I didn't have the internet, which was disgusting.

    So beware once pipex have your money, they don't care about anything else!!!
