Does anyone know of a finance company who will lend 150k for 8 to 12 months? I have several defaults although most of the settled. I have 30k deposit. I plan to live in one and sell the other one. Hopefully be mortgage free. Internet sites promise you the world but no joy so far.

If you have defaults, any lender will want good security. In my opinion, you will have a chance of getting the finance if the value of the land is enough to secure the loan and if you are willing to have the loan secured on it.

Thanks for the reply the land is being bought for 50k and the build cost is 130k. I think i will need to pass on this one for the time being and hope the land is still there in six months in the hope that my credit score has crept up a bit.
