How long should I have to wait for my £30 cashback from Scottish Power ?

I have been with them for 2 months (after signing up on moneysupermarket.com in January)

If you're after cashbacks from Scottish Power (loathe as I am to advocate such nonsenses) you can apply for more than double the paltry £30 moneysupermarket gives you from other sites. For obvious reasons I may not tell you what they are.

I simply was after feedback from others who had signed up at the same time as myself - at the time Scottish power were the cheapest for me and the cashback was an unexpected bonus !!!

I am simply providing information for those who chanced upon the thread.

From other correspondents a wait of four or five months is not uncommon. If you're feeling impatient the customer support number (from the front page of the gas and electricity section) is 0845 345 1296

As suggested, you can contact our call centre team on 0845 345 1296. They should be able to check your application and confirm whether Scottish Power has informed MS.com that your application has gone through.

I have contacted Scottish power to enquire about my £30 cash back that I am due for signing up for dual fuel with them three months ago - they came back with the fact that it is down to moneysupermarket.com to pay me this sum of money

For the third time, you could try phoning moneysupermarket to see if they have received confirmation from Scottish Power. But yes, that is correct. The energy supplier gives a wodge of cash to moneysupermarket then moneysupermarket gives some of that wodge back to you. The process takes between six weeks and six months depending on the phase of the moon. Or something.

OK - I finally got an email to them - and despite repeated promises that my cashback would arrive " soon " - nothing came - I received an email from the Utililities Adviser last Tuesday - who promised me that my cashback had been paid in to my bank account on 2nd May and that it would appear in my bank by the end of this week - IT STILL HASN'T

Where is my money ?
