    Powergem Magicians Corner

Reading the issues regarding powergem mistakes, after 10 years with this company, I finally have decided enough is enough.  My electric bill came last month, and I was in debt nearly an hundred pound, I phoned the company, and asked why was I in debt, when I was on the new system, the pin stick, which automatically credited my meter, my meter was was incidentially in credit £46, they did not have a reason and agreed it should not be in arrears, also an estimation had been carried out, this should not be happening on these new systems, according to them.  The reason the changed the card meter was to avoid estimations and make mistakes which they did every quarter.  I then read my meter readings over the phone, at my expense, and received a bill saying I was in credit £35, still not right, but better than the first.  You have proberly heard all this before, to summarise, I have just rang Powergem (pretending to be a new customer), and read my day and night time readings to them, and they have quoted me half the price per units, I then told them I was an existing customer and why could they not pass these savings on to me, and am still waiting for someone to ring me back.  I am changing as of today - goodbye Powergem.

Thanks Kevin, however I need more!  My trust has gone, and one happy customer out of millions of "in the dark" depressed, skint customers, is not enlightening!

the site is www.ebico.co.uk. It is a not for profit company. Now that does make a change from the others.  Kevin

Now now Kathya, I don't think I'm smooth talking. Just believe that the customer is right and should be listened to. After all who is paying these people their wages. God I sound very old fashioned, the customer is right, most of these call centre people have never heard of that concept. Kevin
