    Pipex and ISPA

Avoid Pipex like the plague. Once a great ISP - now dreadful.

The only way to get them to acknowledge problems is via ISPA. We only communicate with them via this channel now as over 40 phone calls and more emails brought us nothing at all in terms of response or active engagement with the issues we raised.

    1. Forget about calling them (if you do use one of the numbers on saynoto0870)
    2. Cancel Direct Debits. Check your account daily and keep cancelling it - they will try and take your money regularly. This helps concentrate their minds on your account.
    3. Write to them with concise details - time of call, agent etc specifying time waiting on lline etc - send via recorded mail
    only. They'll ignore it otherwise.
    4. If no response (there won't be!) write to ISPA. Pipex will then begin to take you seriously.
    5. Only ever contact them again via ISPA channels.

Our complaint is still not resolved but we've managed to have them readjust our bill to the correct amount (as requested many months ago), we've received a MAC code and have moved ISPs and are now trying to get the 12 months contract fee annulled.

I just couldn't take it anymore so was willing to pay the remainder of my contract - despite moving to another ISP - just so I never had to talk/deal with them ever again. I'm still disputing it though and will continue to use ISPA to do so.
