However if you don't do it on day one application for the service is 'deemed' to be a request for the original contract on which the offer is based to be extended to run for eighteen months from the date of either a request for the BB or its commissioning - I can't remember which they told me.
Anyway, it was in the small print somewhere. Like anything 'free' from Orange it comes at a price. France Telecom is not known for its generosity except to its senior managers!
