    N Power

I took advantage 5 years ago of an offer by N Power for a good rate unit price. They wrote to me 60 days ago saying that my new rate was to be 12p unit days 7p nights. I shopped around and found a better deal. I was then informed that as I was registered as a business with them I needed to cancel 90 days before my term ended. I pointed out to them that they had only given me notice of 60 days and they said it was my responsibility to rear my terms & conditions and comply.

Therefore I was locked into them for another year. Domestic customers need only give 1 months notice. I am really glad that the renewal was not 50p a unit and the notice to needed was not 9 months. Needless to say I will cancel now so I will be a free agent in 12 months time. So business accounts beware.

Maybe as domestic customers pay more than business hence the notice periods?
