Has anyone had cashback at all? If so how long did it take? I switched when they were offering cashback and transfered via them to powergen on 9/04/08. Is this normal?

My cashback from changing to Scottish Power took almost 3 months and then I had to push Moneysupermarket.com for it !!!

By the way - I assume that you are aware that the money comes from moneysupermarket.com rather than your new supplier ?

veloxuk, it typically takes about 3 months for Moneysupermarket to send you the cashback, although it can take longer in some cases. We make the payment to you once the supplier has confirmed that the application has been successfully processed at their end. If you would like to give us a call on 0845 345 1296 we can check the statusof your cashback.

I recieved an email from money supermarket, it says,

"

Thank you for your e mail.

Unfortunately there has been a technical error with our systems and this is why you have not be paid your cash back as of yet.

I have sent your information over to the accounts department, so you should hopefully receive the cash back with the next two weeks."

That is exactly the same as I got when I switched some 6 months ago - 2 weeks delay due to some technical issue - you would have thought that they would have got it sorted by now ?

I transfered 3 of my investment properties to Scottish Power while this cashback offer was available and received 3 x £30 with absolutly no hassle within the time stated. I didn't need to remind anyone or do anything, it just arrived in my bank account.

I switched via moneysupermarket and never got my £30. Infact, the supplier never received my switch instruction from moneysupermarket.com. It appears that there is some flakey interface between moneysupermarket.com and the providers.

I gave up in the end and switched directly with the provider.

The impression I get of ms.com is the same as mobile phone cashbacks..

I knew I'd never see the £30 cashback for switching going into my account - am I just so niave?

however if the powers at be would like to prove me wrong then Ref -122538RR20080222

I shall keep you all posted if the £30 turns up in my bank account any time this year!

I got myn within a few days of complaining, it was blamed on a system error.

i am still waiting for cash i change to british gas in march but have not got cash back yet
