    Angry [:@] RE: Mobile Rainbow

Got 1st cashback on time, (perhaps this was a con in it's self) 2nd instalment took 121 days to be paid into my account (not the 45 working or non working days that they promise you) 3rd instalment they said arrived 1 day late so lost that one, got my network to email them to explain that the final bill of a contract always comes out later, and also with the postal strike the last cashback would have been late arriving, do you think this did some good (NO!! you guessed right) after sending about 12 emails and phoneing about 4 times a week still no joy, (1 good thing that has come out of all the phone calls is that i properly know all the first names of all the people in the call centre) well i hope they have a good xmas & new year out of my cashback because that's all they will be getting from me, my wife's 3rd cashback was sent by 1st class rec del on the 30.oct and guess what there is no update for her account and lo and behold i'm out of time to claim her last instalment!!  DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY.

I think the general gist and consensus is that practically almost all these "fantastic mobile cashback" schemes from these off-the-corner shops will fail at some point or the other!!

anything free comes with a "little" price-tag...

    Hi,

I am having same problems with this damn mobile company, I contacted traiding standards and they asked me to send them a letter recorded delivery and give them 7days to give you your cashback if not I will come back to trading standards for next step.

I have three contracts with them mobile rainbow, they've messed me about with 2nd claims for nearly 6months now, at the end of the contract I will be loosing nearly above £1200 of claims, do you think contacting their manager is going to help?

do you have any other usefull info where I can get my claim back

    Rgds

    Adam

    Hi,

These people have messed me about for nearly 6months, I didn't get my cashclaim yet, there is £1200 worth of claims I will need by the end of the contract.

do you have any direct contact to their manager please, if that's going to help

I already reported this to trainding stands, they asked me to send a letter to mobile rainbow recoded delivery, if I dont get my cashback within 7days, I should get back to them for a further action.

do you think complaining to netowrk provider is going to help or to try and cancel my contracts for above reason?

    Re: RE: Mobile Rainbow

I think we should get list of people having problems with these companies and report them to offcoms, they may be able to freeze their assets

Offcom deal with telecommunications ,but they are retailers. We have to investigate.

have a look at XXXXXX Moderator edit - Link to other use forum removed in line with MS terms of service, Please read the rules. for some advice.it reccomends talking to the network provider as they reccomend these people. You can also take court proceedures online.https://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk. Suggest we all do this and they will probably fold anyway.

    Hi

I talked to ofcom and the network provider also. The net work provider told they have nothing to do.The other thing we can do is take up this to court.

    Re: RE: Mobile Rainbow

If we all put pressure on the networks then they will only choose respectable dealers to deal with and hopefully pay us the cash we are owed. I think the best was is a protest at the operators or/ and Ofcom.

    Re: RE: Mobile Rainbow

If I can get a list of people, we can take this further with trading standards, who may advice us of a further action.

...we need to do something about it

network operators will do nothing about it, because they earn cash too.

    Re: RE: Mobile Rainbow

i have three outstanding cashback claims with them. the first two were declined because i had'nt followed their ridiculous and confusing terms and conditions. the third is still in progress......my contract ended in july!!!!!!. i have lost count of the number of emails i have sent them......BUT....i have kept most of the emails i sent them and all their replys, which may help with any legal action. i agree 100% with the other posts about taking further action...but what is the best/most economical course to take. my total claims amount to £360...but why are companies like this allowed to do this? let me know if you have any ideas or need any further info.....should of listened to my wife who said it sounded to good to be true!!!!!!!
