    Re: long stay travel insurance

Have you purchased a travel insurance policy that covers medical or just bought a health insurance policy? If it is a travel insurance policy then this should already include cover for the cost of bringing your daughter home.

If you only have a health insurance policy it may be worth considering swapping this for a full travel insurance policy that will give your daughter similar cover for medical emergencies but also include the other sections that you find on travel insurance products.

You may find that the planned activities are covered by the existing policy (whether it is health or travel insurance). If you are aware of the activities your daughter will be participating in then you should check these with the insurers of the existing policy. This would also apply if you take alternative insurance.

    Hope this helps.
