Life Insurance for Portfolio (Solid Advice needed here)

    Hi All,

I need some advice here on Life insurance/Critical illness/Job loss etc. I have a portfolio of 3 properties worth almost £450,000 at the moment. The mortgages are not covered in any way now.

They are all rented out, at the moment the payment terms on them are all on interest only, but this is due to my current financial situation, and this could change in future, at the moment I am thinking of taking out an insurance that will cover the following: I am a non smoker by the way.

    Death

    Critical Illness

    Loss of Earnings etc

Also, the value of the portfolio of properties will be increasing with time, I don’t know if I actually need this kind of insurance since the properties are already let out.

I would like to get your views here.

    Thanks.

    Hi there,

Ideally you need to give more details to get solid advice. I'd certainly recommend talking to a financial advisor. Either use www.unbiased.co.uk to find an advisor or XXXX Moderator - One link removed in line with MS terms of service. as they do it for you and offer a free 1 hour consultation from a local specialist.

They should both be able to help. Good luck!
