On other forums that I go on, we regularly have what we call a roll call thread , on which everyone introduces themselves and says 'hi'. Usually, there are a few (non-identifying) questions to answer, as well.

I thought, seeing as lots of us are getting to know each other, that this would be a nice thing to try on these boards too.

My name is Catherine - Cat really is what I am called by a lot of people.

I chose my nickname to reflect my personailty - I am a walking catastrophe!!

I've been posting here since December 2006 (I think!).

Yes, I certainly am addicted to these (and other) forums!!

I was born in Hampshire, and grew up there, but I am now an honorary welshwoman, and immensely proud of that. I also lived for quite a while in Liverpool, which will ever be a place close to my heart.

My name is Jason, (as if you didn't know!) and my official title at moneysupermarket.com is Broadband & Shopping Channel Manager.

At present the Broadband Channel has been my primary focus which is why I've been so vocal in the forum and ask the experts, but in the near future we'll be relaunching the Shopping Channel and our plans for this are very very exciting.

Hi, I'm Rob and working undercover as "barno" at the moment. For my sins, I am Head of Mobile for moneysupermarket having moved here just over a month ago from within the mobile industry.

I am looking forward to re-launching the mobile channel with some key developments regarding search functionalities, more providers and my attempt to drive more people towards fairer GUARANTEED CASHBACK deals! There are people out there who do actually receive their cashbacks....!

NAME: Mr Shark!

NICKNAME: Actually given by one of our local coastguards after the floods in 2004 washed away part of our village. As one of the volunteers, I did not have access to their normal call signs so they decided this and it sort of stuck.

POSTING: Late 2006 - probably December
