    Insurance chase ups

Can anyone tell me how I can still use this really useful site without having to experience a high level of multiple calls from people offering me the same services that I have already been trying to sort out myself using this site.  The problem has now become so bad that I more than think twice now before using this site and getting quotes because I am quite literally flooded with these type of calls which are all offering to do exactly the same thing that I am already trying to do myself.

This cannot be off-putting only to me as I know that others are experiencing the same problem and unless moneysupermarket.com takes some action on this they may find that their popularity as a search engine will plummet.

Hi --- When you have to give your phone number just replace your number with Zero's instead of your personal number or a made up number, and tick / untick the appropriate boxes relating to further contact by post.

That stops all the annoying follow up leads, but still allows you to get the quotes that you can consider at your own privacy before arranging any cover.

I admit it is annoying and indeed it should not be required at all, or at least leaving a contact number should be entirely voluntary.

MS --- If you are looking in, could this method be employed in your search engine requirements. ??

Hi you also have to delete the cookies or it will remember each time you look at loans, insurance etc and untick the box.

Ive had the same thing, even after asking not to be called, still got msm offering to transfer me to MORE THAN for home insurance,i said no instantly cos i hate more than and their terms and conditions for car insurance so im hardly gonna be intrested in their home products.

The problem also is anyone who asks to be called ,can expect calls from associate companys(not sure about msm) after normal reasonable office hours,i recieved a call at 8.45pm.

The company i work for has a policy not to cold call or make solicited calls after 8pm as those hours after are deemed as unsociable, its a shame other dont have the same ethos.

I wasn't aware that MoneySupermarket actually make calls out to customers receiving quotes?! Is this a new thing? I thought that they transfer details to the broker/insurance companies for them to call? If those people do not want follow up calls, why are they putting their telephone number onto the internet? In addition, calls after 9pm are deemed unsociable and it is fully 'legal' to call people up until this period.
    Kind Regards,
